Common Issues

• Installer blocked by Windows SmartScreen — click More info then Run anyway. The app is not yet code-signed.
• ARK server won’t start — check the prerequisite warnings on the dashboard. Visual C++ 2013 x64 and DirectX June 2010 runtime are required.
• Server stuck in STOPPING — wait 30 seconds; the app will force-kill the process if RCON stop times out.
• SteamCMD fails with exit code 8 — delete the steamcmd folder inside your GameWarden data directory and let the app re-download it.
