Free and commercial use

GameWarden Local Free and Registered Free access are for non-commercial use. Commercial server operators are welcome, but require a paid GameWarden server-capacity plan.

Commercial use includes operating, promoting, or supporting servers connected to money or anything of value exchanged for access, in-game items, currency, ranks, priority access, cosmetic rewards, perks, services, or other benefits. It includes arrangements through a website, Discord, donation platform, or third party. Calling a payment a donation does not change this rule when a benefit is promised or implied.

Voluntary contributions with no promised or implied benefit, preferential treatment, access advantage, or in-game reward are not commercial use by themselves.

Review and enforcement

GameWarden may review publicly available server listings, advertising, and links voluntarily supplied during onboarding to check compliance with these terms. We do not inspect private host files, credentials, RCON, player data, or machine contents for this purpose.

Where there is reasonable evidence of a mismatch, GameWarden will provide notice and an opportunity to explain before restricting new server creation or requiring paid capacity. Existing servers are not stopped solely because of a capacity change. You may contact Support to appeal a decision.
